*** A CALL TO PRAYER - Each Sunday Morning we have the opportunity to PRAY for the vision of our church. Come into the sanctuary between 9:00-9:30 (any time and for however long you want) to pray to our Lord our concerns, hopes and dreams for Copeland Baptist Church. “The Lord...hears the prayer of the righteous”.  Proverbs 15:29

*** Greetings Copeland Baptist Church, As the Outreach Director, I would like, with the help of Leesa and the church, to open up the Food Pantry to our surrounding neighborhood. These families or individuals can come to the church and get some much-needed supplies.  If you are at the grocery store or have any of these items sitting on your shelf that you can donate to the church food pantry, we would truly appreciate it.  Thank you so much.

Here is a list of some items that are not covered by food stamps: Toilet paper---Deodorant---Shampoo---Cream rinse---Toothpaste---Tooth brush---Bar soap---Dish soap---Lotion---Brushes/Combs---Pads/ Tampons Other items we could use in the food pantry are: Rice---Beans---Tuna----Mayo---Soups/Crackers--- Canned vegetables---Peanut butter/ Jelly---Mac and Cheese

Again, thank you on behalf of the Food Pantry and Outreach Ministry. Jerald Holcomb—Outreach Director

*** Pastor James has called monthly ministry (committee) meetings for the first Sunday of each month after the morning worship service.  This is the time to share with other committee members about what we are doing and to be on the same page about happenings in the church life.  A representative (or more) from each elected how each committee needs to be present at these meetings to report

*** The Children’s Ministry is in need of help during the morning worship time. Children’s Church is such an important ministry for the children and will be a big help for Tammy. She will have all the sessions prepared for each Sunday. PLEASE PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER HELPING WITH THIS VERY IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CHURCH MINISTRY.

*** REMEMBER: We will continue to save Best Choice labels to be turned in to the church office or give them to Shirley McKnight, with this money going to missions.
