*** MANY THANKS to those who are donating their time to be at the church each morning, Monday-Friday, to help with the “No Hunger Summer” program. They are here from 11:30—1:00 each day making lunches provided by Second Harvest and available to any child who comes by. Thank you to Kay Rogers, Ruth McDonald, Allan McDonald, Dave Dean, Karen Stumpf and Lori McClain. If you would like to help, please talk with Kay Rogers.

*** A CALL TO PRAYER – Each Sunday Morning we have the opportunity to PRAY for our church, especially the Sunday School and the Children’s Ministry. Come into the sanctuary between 8:45-9:15 (any time and for however long you want) to pray to our Lord our concerns, hopes and dreams for Copeland Baptist Church. “The Lord…hears the prayer of the righteous”.       Proverbs 15:29
*** Pastor James has called monthly ministry (committee) meetings for the first Sunday of each month after the morning worship service.  This is the time to  share with other committee members about what we are doing and to be on the same page about happenings in the church life.  A representative (or more) from each elected how each committee needs to be present at these meetings to report
*** Come join in the fellowship at WMU (Women’s Missionary Union) with Judy Bunton and Wynona Rails as leaders.  The ladies will have a once a month meeting to learn more about missions and being missionaries right where we are. Bring finger foods if you wish or just come and enjoy.
*** HOSPITAL VISITS/TOUCH TUESDAY is every Tuesday night starting at 5:00 pm. with hospital visit followed up with Touch Tuesday @6:30. This is the time to visit those who have visited our services and those who haven’t been here for a while. Contact Pastor James or Jerald Holcomb to let him know you want to be a part of this very important ministry.
*** ATTENTION!!!! The Children’s Ministry is in need of help during the morning worship time. Tammy Auxier has put a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for help each Sunday until the end of October. Also a sign up sheet for help with snacks/drinks for the children during Children’s Church. This is such an important ministry for the children and will be a big help for Tammy. She will have all the sessions prepared for each Sunday. PLEASE PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER HELPING WITH THIS VERY IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CHURCH MINISTRY.
*** We are accumulating items for the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to be sent off in November 2019. The July items to bring are toys, flashlights with extra batteries, small tools for older boys, sewing kits for older girls or misc. You may place these items in the box in the church foyer for Operation Christmas Child.
*** NOTE : The W.M.U. would like to thank everyone for their donations toward Operation Christmas Child, they were able to send 53 generously filled shoe boxes to needy kids around the world. They will begin in January to collect items for next year. Thanks again.
REMEMBER: We will continue to save Best Choice labels to be turned in to the church office or give them to Shirley McKnight, with this money going to missions.
