****September 24TH – the St. Joseph Baptist Association will have their Annual Meeting at Frazier Baptist Church (13601 State Hwy. E SE, Agency, MO) beginning at 4:00 pm. The messengers elected are Scott Pendleton, Don Burger, Lori McClain, Leesa Kerns, Bonita White & Karen Stumpf. There will be no evening worship that night but all are invited to attend the annual meeting
Pastor James has called monthly ministry (committee) meetings for the second Sunday of each month after the morning worship service. This is the time to share with other committee members about what we are doing and to be on the same page about happenings in the church life. A representative (or more) from each elected how each committee needs to be present at these meetings to report
ATTENTION!!!! The Children’s Ministry is in need of help during the morning worship time. Tammy Auxier has put a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for help each Sunday until the end of October. Also a sign up sheet for help with snacks/drinks for the children during Children’s Church. This is such an important ministry for the children and will be a big help for Tammy. She will have all the sessions prepared for each Sunday. PLEASE PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER HELPING WITH THIS VERY IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CHURCH MINISTRY.
NOTE :The W.M.U. ladies are NOT collecting the aluminum cans anymore due to the lack of someone to take them to recycling. Also the library can NOT take anymore donations of books since they have run out of room to shelve them. Many thanks for the donations to each of these ministries.
REMEMBER: We will continue to save Best Choice labels to be turned in to the church office or give them to Shirley McKnight, with this money going to missions.
